Firewall

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Firewalls are a series of independent internal intrusion detectors that use unique technology to protect doors, windows, walls and glass surfaces from burglary attempts.

WHERE TO JOIN?
Depending on the model, SPC PRO detectors are used on doors, windows, skylights, glass surfaces and various types of walls, including masonry and reinforced concrete walls.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Firewall seismic and shock detectors detect impacts and vibrations caused by attempts to force, breach or drill into the protected structure. They use two different sensing elements: a PIEZO transducer and a MEMS accelerometer. The signals received by each transducer are combined and processed using intelligent adaptive algorithms: such algorithms enhance the key advantages of both technologies to ensure maximum reliability in any application.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?
The system consists of five detectors: two for doors and windows (each of which is available in a version with and without magnetic contact), two for walls and one for glass surfaces. The four independent detectors do not need a separate processing board and can be directly connected to any control panel.

THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVANTAGE
Available in detectors that protect doors, windows and walls, the DSF dual-technology technology represents DEA Security's most significant innovation, introducing the SPC PRO among the most modern intrusion detection systems.
In fact, relying on two different signal sources combined and processed by intelligent algorithms allows the new sensors to adapt to different applications and perform in an unparalleled way.

KEY BENEFITS

DEA Sensor Fusion technology
The new DSF technology developed by DEA Security combines all the advantages of a traditional Piezoelectric transducer with the advantages of a MEMS accelerometer in one seismic sensor. The result is a detector with the highest performance.

Smart analysis
The powerful CPU integrated into the detectors can execute sophisticated algorithms to distinguish between different attacks against the protected structure: theft (low-level attacks), breaking (brutal attacks), breaking (single severe attacks) and continuous vibrations (by cutting or drilling). power tools).

High performance digital filters
All SPC PRO detector models use a DSP microcontroller for digital signal processing and high-performance filters.

There is no placement limit
All SPC PRO detectors can be installed in any plane and orientation, providing maximum installation flexibility.

Unlike the FDR1 model, the calibration and configuration of the detector is carried out through DIP switches, through which it is possible to select one of the three standard calibrations according to EN 50131-2-8 (window, wood and concrete) or specify the settings for single attack modes (burglary, burglary and cutting/drilling) or related to sensor operation.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Calibration and configuration via DIP switches
  • Anti-opening magnetic contact (FDR2M version)
  • Anti-removal device that detects removal of the sensor from the structure
  • Sensor box opening detection device
  • Simplified calibration and individual calibration by structure type
  • Multi-color LED for alarm and configuration activities

SN-SPCP-FDR2 has Safety Level 3 and Environmental Class II certification of EN 50131-2-8 standard.
SN-SPCP-FDR2M is certified to EN 50131-2-8 Safety Level 3 and Environment Class II and EN 50131-2-6 Safety Level 2 and Environment Class II.

SERVICE APPLICATION

SN-SPCP-FDR1, SN-SPCP-FDR1M and SN-SPCP-FWL detectors are equipped with free downloadable service software for iOS and Android mobile devices; this software allows you to centrally configure and calibrate detectors using a Wi-Fi connection. After connecting, the app automatically recognizes the sensor model and displays the appropriate configuration tools.

More in-depth, referring to the FDR1(M) sensor, you can calibrate the sensor via the app, choosing one of three default configurations (window, wood and concrete according to EN 50131-2-8) or performing a custom calibration. In this latter case, it is possible to create a specific configuration for each type of attack (low attacks, coarse attacks and continuous vibration) and set the following parameters:

  • detection sensitivity (also
  • can be adjusted to break events);
  • the number of events that triggered the alarm;
  • event reset time between one count and the next;
  • coupling, PIEZO/MEMS ratio coeff.

It is also possible through the application:

  • calibrate the magnetic sensor (SN-XS-FDRM sensor only);
  • view real-time signal strength and event counts;
  • Enable/disable LED status and configure its behavior;
  • Recognize a specific alarm event thanks to explanatory graphic icons.
